Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia is located in the old town part of Nicosia close to Eleftheria Square.

The museum permanent exhibition includes a walk through the history of Nicosia: the emergence of the city, its Byzantine, Medieval, Ottoman and British eras, as well as its history from the year 1960 to the present day.

Temporary exhibitions of artworks from other Cyprus museums are also on display. The museum also offers a range of organized education programs, tours and other events. Maps, booklets and tours are available in Greek and English.

Parking is available next to the museum. Entrance is free. Donations are welcome. There is a museum souvenir shop.
