National Struggle Museum is located on Kyprianou Square near Archbishop's Palace in Nicosia.

The museum was established following the end of the National Liberation Struggle (1955-1959), whose mission was to liberate Cyprus from colonial rule and unite it with Greece. The museum was restored in 2001 and the new space opened its doors to the public.

Museum collection includes rare photographs, newspaper clippings, radio equipment that belonged to Turkish Cypriots and personal items that used to belong to the members of the liberation movement.

Different types of arms are also on display, including makeshift weapons used by the movement’s self-defense unit, as well as Turkish and Greek weaponry. A special composite picture portrays the burial sites of Turkish Cypriots – the martyrs of the movement.

The museum is wheelchair accessible with designated parking for the handicapped. Entrance is free.
