The Church of Virgin Mary of Chrysopolitissa is at the crossroads of Archiepiskopou Kyprianou and Panagia Chrysopolitissa streets.

This ancient church was built in Larnaca at the end of the 11th century on the site of the necropolis of ancient Kition. The church has been rebuilt and restored numerous times. The church’s main decorative piece is a 19th century carved wooden iconostasis. The church also has a wealth of beautiful icons from the 16th and 17th centuries.
